I have irrational fears. I don't recall having these fears when I was younger. Is it because I know more now? I'm not sure. Let's talk about one for now. For now.
I don't like escalators. I'm afraid I will step on wrong and trip and cut up the face. It just takes too much effort to step right. Yes it does. Even crazier my hair can slide into the opening. You know because I have such long hair. Ahhhh! See I told ya it was irrational.
So as a joke... recently my friend took my hand and guided me on to the escalator in front of the lovely Michael Kors bags in Macy's. LOL!

I'm finding out so many things we have in common. I'm afraid of escalators too! I mean - I'll use them, but I always stop and make a couple false steps before I finally get on - and I have to use the handrail or I'm sure I'm gonna plummet to my death. LOL

DeleteI think they are fun...and sooooo much better than walking up all of those stairs. I feel a little exhilarated when I can smoothly hop aboard on the first try. But then again, I thought childbirth was an exhilarating challenge. I am weird like that! ;) Sorry they scare you.
